Mary Ann Toupal

Mary Ann Toupal, 90, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2012 in Ennis, Texas.

Mary was born in Creechville, Texas on February 23, 1922 to John W. and Carrie (Bobalik) Laza. She grew up in Creechville and went to Pea Ridge School. In 1941 she married Bob B. Toupal and they made their home in Ennis.

She worked for Ennis Business Forms for ten years and was a full time mother and homemaker. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ennis. She loved to cook for family and friends. Her family was her joy, and they loved their “Granny Mary”.

She is survived by son, Robert Toupal of Ennis; daughter, Katherine and her husband Bill Ranton of Plano; five grandchildren: Kim Ranton, Krissy Wadley, Todd Toupal, Kyle Ranton and Brett Toupal; ten great-grandchildren: Kylee Ranton, Kaleb Ranton, Luke Wadley, Grace Wadley, Breighton Toupal, Alex Chambers, Brecken Toupal, Chase Toupal, Brayden Toupal and Gavin Toupal; and one brother Willie Laza and his wife, Hazel of Ennis. She is preceded in death by her parents, her former husband, Bob B. Toupal in 1970, daughter, Delores Massey in 2010 and two brothers, Frank E. Laza and Johnny Laza.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. until service time on Thursday, September 20, 2012. A Celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2012 in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rev. Craig Kruger officiating. Pallbearers will be Todd Toupal, Kyle Ranton, Brett Toupal, Luke Wadley, Brecken Toupal, Chase Toupal, Brayden Toupal and Gavin Toupal. Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery of Ennis under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
