Dwight “Bud” Roberson, 53, died Thursday March 30, 2006, at his home in Mesquite. He was born Dec. 15, 1952 in Garland, the son of Roy H. and Lee E. Miles Roberson. He was reared in Dallas where he attended school. He was a carpenter and an automotive interior installer. He was a member of the Lawson Road Baptist Church in Dallas. He is survived by a brother and his wife, Roy H. and Barbara Roberson, II of Benton, LA; 4 sisters, Aurelia Deoniso of Wilmer, Annette Mascorro of Garland, Robbie Lee and Mack Cable of Cleveland, TN and Betty Beir of Apolla, PA; and a godson, Sterling King of Dallas. And numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Barney D. Roberson and his parents, Roy and Lee Roberson. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in the Keever Chapel with Rev. Richard Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Chatfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
