Alan Wade Klein,74, passed away in Ennis, Texas, on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.

Alan was born in Alpine, Texas, on August 20, 1948, to Francis and Nellie (Widner) Klein. He grew up in El Paso, Texas and graduated from Ysleta High School in El Paso. He married Josephine Haught on June 25, 1980.

Alan served his country proudly in the United States Army at Fort Benning in Georgia.

Alan was a Firefighter and Paramedic for the City of El Paso at the time he began with the El Paso Fire Department he was the youngest firefighter in El Paso. Alan enjoyed hunting and horses.

Alan had ten children in total; two brothers; one sister; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 34 years, Josephine and two brothers.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at 3 p.m. at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
