Alvin Don Riley, 87, passed away in Garland, Texas on Monday, April 11, 2022.

Alvin was born in Gentry, Arkansas on May 9, 1934, to Earl and Myrtle (Freeman) Riley.  Alvin grew up in Springtown, Arkansas and attended school there. Alvin married the love of his life, Luree Watkins and they made their home in Lancaster, Texas.

Alvin worked for several companies including Miller Brewery where he worked for twelve years as a line mechanic, for Frito Lay for five years as a line mechanic and for Kraft Foods for ten years as a line mechanic. Alvin enjoyed traveling, working on cars and flying Cessna planes.

Alvin is survived by a son, Hondo Riley and his wife, Karla; daughter-in-law, Becky Riley; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Larry Riley and a host of extended family and friends.

Alvin is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Luree, brother, Jerry Riley, sister, Mary Beth and son, Jim Riley.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 10 a.m. in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
