Anne Ramsey Turner (Reudelhuber)(Ishiguro), 96, much loved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, passed away in Mesquite, Texas on Thursday, April 8, 2021.

She was born July 22, 1924 in Ennis, Texas to Al Ramsey and Ola Sullivan Ramsey. She graduated from Abilene Christian University, where she studied art and met her husband Harold Turner.  They had many careers together, running a sewing machine shop and selling Indian Motorcycles in Waco, Texas, where they also ran a photography studio. They lived together on the family farm in Rankin, Texas, where they had three children and operated Byrd-Rankin Gas Company. In Grand Prairie they operated several funeral homes in the DFW Metroplex. In 1972, they began building a home in Ennis, Texas, near Lake Bardwell. Tragically, Harold died in a car accident in 1973, and she completed the home on her own.

Anne began a new career designing kitchens for Sears, where she met a client, Frank Reudelhuber. They married in 1980, traveled and lived happily in Desoto, Texas until his death in 1987. In 1989, with her son Gary and daughter-in-law Cheryl, she helped found Techni-Tool, Inc., a successful family business that is now flourishing under her grandson Zach's leadership.  After retiring, she dedicated herself to being an extraordinary Nana to her grandchildren.  She kept a welcoming home that hosted many family gatherings and weekly prayer groups.

In 2000, Anne reunited with and married Masaaki (Bob) Ishiguro, her early college sweetheart.  Their romance was marred by anti-Japanese sentiments during World War II and they were forced apart.  Their sweet love story was featured on the frontpage of the Dallas Morning News. The Associated Press then picked it up, and it was featured in newspapers across the globe and in People Magazine.  Preferring their privacy, they declined offers to have their story made into a movie.

Her vibrant, loving spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew her, most of all by her family: her son Gary and Cheryl Turner of Rowlett, Texas; son Wayne and Sonja Turner of Cedar Hill, Texas; daughter Annette and Dale Pybus of Midlothian, Texas; her grandchildren, Renee Turner and Cesare Davolio of Rotterdam, The Netherlands;  Zach and Mia Turner of Dallas, Texas; Lawton and Juliana Pybus of Englewood, Colorado; Carrie Pybus and Jake Smith of Clarion, Pennsylvania; and her great-grandchildren Eliot Davolio, Tripp Turner and John Henry Pybus.

A memorial celebration of her life will be held May 15 ^th at the home of her daughter Annette.
