Antonio Morales, 95, passed away on Thursday, September 25,2025 in Ennis, Texas.

Antonio was born on July 25, 1930, to Apolonio Morales and Concepcion Mata in Manuel Maria, Zacatecas, Mexico. He grew up in Mexico.  He married Alejandra Gonzales, and they lived in Mexico until they immigrated to the United States.

He worked hard his whole life to take care of his family, who he took much pride in. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, and loved life. He was fond of making memories and remembered every single one of them.

He is survived by nine sons: J. Asencion Morales, Rosalio Morales, Jose Angel Morales, Efren Morales, Isidro Morales, Antonio Morales, Benito Morales,  Apolonio Morales and Mariano Morales; four daughters: Maria Concepcion Cardona, Maura Morales Margarita Morales, and Martina Lopez-Morales; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren; and one brother. He was preceded in death by his wife Alejandra Morales, his parents and one son Jose Luis Morales.

Cuando yo me vaya, déjenme ir.  No se aten a mí por sus lágrimas. Por los hermosos años que vívimos juntos, demoste gracias a Dios.  Sí necesitan llorar, lloren pero Dejen que su fe reconforte su pena; La vida sigue adelante. Estaré entre ustedes y sentiran mi calor de mí amor en sus corazones. Y cuando a ustedes les toque viajar por este camino, junto a Dios los recibire con una sonrisa.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis with Rosary at 7 p.m.

Liturgy outside of Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel in Ennis with Father Agustin Fuertes as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery of Ennis under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
