Armandina Diaz Medina, 72, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, in Dallas, Texas.

Armandina was born in Villa de Fuentes, Mexico on September 23, 1950, to Eulahio Diaz and Olivia Ortegan (de Diaz) Ruiz. She grew up in Wilmer, Texas. On March 24, 1971, Armandina married Raul Medina, Sr.

Armandina worked for over sixteen years for the Dallas County Human Resources as a Social Worker, for the Rogers family for nine years as a housekeeper, for Palmer ISD for five years as an Aide and for Marilyn Belts and Bags for five years as a line supervisor. Armandina was a member of J bar C Cowboy Church. She enjoyed watching wrestling, reading and loved to cook.

Armandina is survived by her husband of over fifty-one years, Raul Medina, Sr.; sons: Raul Medina, Jr. and wife Betty and Rojelio Medina and wife, Sylvia; grandchildren: Roxanne Medina, Shawn Medina, Dylan Medina, Logan Medina and Jacob Medina; one brother, Lalo Diaz; multiple nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends.

Armandina is preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Santo Diaz, Humberto Diaz and Rolando Diaz; sisters: Jovita Chavez, Olivia Landeros, Minvera Diaz and Maria Silva.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Palmer.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Palmer with Rev. James McCarty officiating. Interment will follow in the Palmer Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
