Obituary

Benny Lee Costlow was born in Ennis, Texas on October 1, 1936 to Roscoe R. and Ruby (Duke) Costlow. He grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School.
He served in the United States National Guard from 1960-1962.
He married Marjorie Ann Gibson on June 14, 1971.  They made their home in Ennis, Duncanville and settled in Murchison.
He was retired salesman of welding equipment, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, poker, and western movies.
He was a gentle giant that will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his daughter Jan Ashlock and husband David; stepdaughter Donna Garrett and husband Ronnie;  stepsons: Doug Turner and wife Paula, David Turner and wife Linda, and Dennis Turner; numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
He is preceded  in death by his parents, wife Marjorie Costlow, daughter Kimberly Bruck, grandson David Lee Ashlock, Jr., daughter-in-law Kathy Turner, and brother Forrest Costlow.
Visitation will be Monday, May 17, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the J. E. Keever Mortuary, Inc., 408 N. Dallas St., Ennis, Texas. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the same location, with Rev. Brendan Keener of Baylor Baptist Church, Ennis officiating.  Interment will follow in Elm Branch Cemetery in Bardwell, Texas under the direction of J. E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
