Bessie K McCarty, Bessie Ruth Kelsey, Bess, Betsy, Mom, Noni: left this world to be reunited in Glory with her departed loved ones on 12/17/2021.

Bess was 79 at the time of her death; she was born in Ennis, Texas on March 6, 1942.

She is survived by three children and their families: Bruce and Susan Davis of Kempner, TX, (their Children), Joe and Amber Davis, (their Babies) Rose, Sara, Arial and Zachariah, and Ms. Julie Davis, "Aunt Extraordinaire."

Bonnie Springer and Bill Springer of Ennis, TX, (their children) Penny McNitt and Fur babies, Cassielee Hollingsworth and Son, Karsyn Hollingsworth, Mollie Dlabaj and Daughter, Laynie Rodgers.

Brad and Leslie Davis of Seabrook, TX , (their children) Taylor Davis – Daughter Jaelynn and Son Eli and Aubrey Davis, "Uncle Bubba."

She is also survived by the father of her children Billy Joe Davis of Seabrook, Texas

She is survived by her beloved brother and BFF Doug Kelsey along with his wife Myrna Kelsey. Myrna and Bess had a long friendship.

She also leaves behind many friends: Cathy Dixon Constable (Best Friend and Partner in Crime), Cousins Cindy Holland and Girls, Patty Harrison and Betty Colvin.

Her beloved Animals that kept her going (3 cats, 2 dogs and some Goats) that will miss her greatly.

She is preceded in Death by her Parents William B. Kelsey and Etta (Mammaw) Ruth Lee Kelsey of Ennis, one Brother William H. Kelsey and a beloved Nephew Robert Douglas (Robbie) Kelsey.

Bess did not want a funeral so a celebration of life will be held sometime after the holidays.

Bess walked to the beat of her own drum and had a Gypsy Soul. She loved to travel and Colorado was her favorite place. In the spring, her ashes will be taken to a beautiful destination of her own choosing in the mountains of Colorado and there she will remain.
