Betty June McCord, 89, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Betty was born in Dallas, Texas, on December 23, 1935, to Clarence Wesley and Henrietta (Kennedy) Dean. She grew up in Dallas, Texas. Betty married Marvin L. McCord on November 4, 1960. They lived in Alvin and Huntsville before settling in Ennis in 1964.

Betty worked as a Bank Teller for many years at Prosperity Bank. Betty was an active member of the Faithful Friends Sunday School Class, MAC's Club, Rebecca's, and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Betty enjoyed crocheting, oil painting, entertaining friends and family and playing domino's.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Deana McCord.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 11 a.m. in the J. E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
