Betty Sue Tims, 93, faithful servant of Jesus Christ went home to meet her heavenly father on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, from Ennis, Texas.

Betty was born in Ennis, Texas on October 30, 1928, to Lawrence and Mattie (West) Fisher.  Betty grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School. Betty married George "Bo" Tims and they made their home in Ennis.

Betty worked for Ennis Business Forms in customer service for over forty years. Betty retired from Ennis Business Forms to help run the family farm in Telico with her family. Betty was a charter member of Baylor Baptist Church which she faithfully attended until her health prevented her from attending.

Left to cherish her memory are grandchildren, Jarred Tims and wife, Amber their daughter Ava, Lexi Tims, Amber Willis and Miranda Clark; nieces: Molly, Casey, Julie and Nancy along with numerous extended family and friends.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, her husband, Bo Tims and her beloved sons David and Don Tims.

Betty was truly a kind and loving lady. A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She always put family first and others above herself. She was an excellent cook and gracious hostess. She loved her Lord with all her heart, and her grandchildren were the light of her life. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at 10 a.m. in the Telico Cemetery with Rev. Chet Hensley officiating under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
