Beverly Dale Spruiell Jinks was born February 27, 1955, to loving parents Madelle and Harold "Bill" at their home in McLennon County. While she grew up as an only child, she always had a big family with plenty of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Beverly was a good student, clarinet player, and was active in her church youth group. It was in high school in Grand Prairie, TX that she met and began dating the love of her life, Larry Jinks. Their long-distance romance at the beginning of college led them both back to University of Texas at Arlington where she earned her Bachelor's Degree. Beverly and Larry married February 4, 1977. In 1981, they welcomed their first child, Alison, and completed the family in 1983 with the birth of Brian. Shortly thereafter they made their home in Ennis, TX, where they raised their family, built a practice, found a church family, and made life-long friends. Beverly has been a Sunday school teacher to many, a choir member, a member of Garden Club and Denim Diners, and enjoys her "Bunco" group that no longer plays Bunco. She has been the wife/mom/grandma/friend who would do anything for anyone. Beverly was a caretaker and a volunteer most of her life. She loved her family fiercely. She tried to be at everything possible for her kids and grandkids, traveling all over for band, sports, school events, etc. She also enjoyed traveling, which she did in her last weeks with her husband of 45 years, Larry, and had other family travel plans for the future. She left this life on October 14, 2022, for her greatest adventure yet, as she travelled to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 10 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church of Ennis. Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
