Bobbie Jean (Ray) Trahan was born on July 13,1928 to Travis Dewey and Florence Dixon Ray in Garrett, Texas and passed away on November 20, 2022 at the age of 94. She attended Ennis High School and on September 6,1948 she married Jimmie Trahan moving to Louisiana for several years before returning to Ennis in June 1955.  She was employed several years by Ennis Business Forms and later retired from Steck-Warlick Printing. After retirement she provided "grandma's taxi" and babysat both her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were the joys of her life.
Her pastimes included watching football on tv and listening to the broadcast of Ennis Lions football games on Friday nights. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Billy Don and Travis Dwain Ray, granddaughter Elizabeth Schlebach, great-granddaughter Elizabeth Amanda Lawrence and her husband Jimmie in 2014. They were married 66 years at the time of his death.
She is survived by her 3 daughters Carolyn Schlebach, Sandra Taylor, and Janice McAda and husband Gene, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a lifetime a friends.
The family extends its appreciation to the staff of Bristol Hospice and Legend Oaks for their compassion and care over the last few weeks of her life.
Visitation will be from 1-2 pm on Friday; November 25, 2022 with funeral service beginning at 2 pm with Pallbearers being, Gene McAda, Jason Mahone, Tim Lawrence, Les Rose, Haden Mahone and R.J. Mahone and graveside service immediately following at Myrtle Cemetery; Ennis.
