Bobby Lee Denbow, 93, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Legend Oaks Health Center in Ennis, Texas.

Bobby was born in Drane, Texas on November 30, 1931, to Clarence Audry and Katie Aleene (Clements) Denbow. He grew up in Drane and Corsicana and later moved to Ennis, Texas, where he graduated from Ennis High School in 1951. He was married to Gardenia L. Blackerby, and they made their home in Ennis, Texas and later divorced.

He took care of his boys and was a good father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. He was a member of First Methodist Church of Ennis. He enjoyed country western and blue grass music; liked fishing, was an avid deer hunter in season and loved spending time on the lake with his boys in summer water skiing and racing with other boaters but, he was pretty much of a homebody.

He is survived by two sons: Mark Denbow and Brian Denbow; four grandchildren: Melanie Atkinson, Keith Denbow, Amanda Davis and Lauren Denbow; four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence A. Denbow and Katie A. Denbow and brother, Billy D. Denbow.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, beginning at 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 2 p.m. in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.

The family is requesting donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America in lieu of flowers.
