Bobby Norris, age 69, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully September 11, 2024 in Kyle, TX.

Bobby was born in Waxahachie, TX to J.D. and Barbara Norris.
He graduated from Palmer High School in 1973 where he lettered in football, basketball, baseball and track.  He would then go on to earn his Bachelor's degree in Science from East Texas State University in 1977.  He began his career as a computer programmer, testing Cybertek's Cyberlife system. Bobby worked for many companies coding/developing computer programs for various types of insurance companies until he retired in 2019.

Bobby loved the outdoors and country-side. He loved to garden, much of which he learned from his parents growing up on 10 acres in Palmer. He had a true passion for history and sports.  Bobby loved to read books and often read books regarding Native-American history. Bobby was a proud Texan and represented the Texas Longhorns with pride.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ruth Norris, brother Michael Norris, and sisters Vicki Norris and Laurice Calhoun.
Bobby is survived by his son: Nathan Norris, daughter and son in law Natasha Siddiqui and Mohammad Siddiqui; grand-children: Koryn Siddiqui, Mohammad Alexander Siddiqui, Karim Siddiqui, Kaliyah Siddiqui, Kayden Siddiqui, Jaxtyn Norris, Jayda Norris, Jensyn Norris and Alexandre Silva; sisters Louanne Brown, Denise Thompson and husband Mark Thompson (brother-in-law), and beloved nieces and nephews.
Services were held Wednesday, September 18th at Palmer Cemetery by J.E.Keever Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank Legend Oaks Rehab of Kyle, and Hays Nursing Home of San Marcos for the love and care they gave Bobby for the last few days.
