Brenda Brown, 68, passed away in Dallas, Texas on Thursday, August 12, 2021.

Brenda was born in Abilene, Texas on January 12, 1953 to Raleigh Oscar and Felbia Maulaine (Weaver) Shank.  She grew up in Abilene and graduated from Abilene High School.  She married Eric Wade Wilemon I and they made their home in Abilene.

Brenda worked in the banking field for over forty years as a branch manager for a savings and loan, Vice-President at Bank of America and at Regions Bank.  Brenda was raised in the Baptist Church.  She enjoyed aerobic exercise, Sunday School, water skiing and shopping.  Brenda's family was the joy of her life.

Brenda is survived by daughters: Melissa Murray and husband, Alex, and Heather Gardner and husband, Justin; grandchildren: Madilyn Kopec, Trinity Kopec, Jackson Murray, Brayden Gardner, Grace Gardner and Grant Gardner and many extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Raleigh and Felbia Shank, brother, Paul Shank, sister, Carol Cannant, son, Eric Wade Wilemon, II and husband of 27 years, Eric Wade Wilemon, I.

Private graveside services will be held in Myrtle Cemetery with Rev. Chet Hensley officiating under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
