Brenda Kay Walley, 76, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2021 in Dallas, Texas.

Brenda was born January 8, 1945 in Ector, Texas to parents Geneva and Bryan Simpson. She attended school in the area of Ector, Texas where she grew up.

She made her home in Ennis, Texas in 1972 where she later married her husband Jim Walley. They made their home in Scurry, Texas and then moved to Wichita Falls, Texas where they lived for 20 years. They moved back to Ennis, Texas in 2019, upon retiring from Sam's club in Wichita Falls, Texas.

She worked as an actuary for Lone Star Life Insurance Company in Dallas, Texas for many years. She was a member of Lakeside Country Club, Ennis, Texas where she enjoyed playing golf. Brenda was a member of the Cowboy Church of Wichita Falls. During her time in Wichita Falls she loved tending to her many farm animals. Brenda was loved by all she came in contact with. Her precious, lively, spirit will forever live in the hearts of all that knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Andralyn (Andy) Jones, and husband Marvin Jones of Palmer. Two grandsons, Dusty Jones of Dallas, Texas and Jordan Jones of Palmer, Texas. Two nieces Carla Hall of Arizona and Jana Simpson of Mesquite, Texas.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents Bryan and Geneva Simpson, her husband, Jim Walley, and two brothers Harry Simpson and Irvin Simpson

Graveside services will be held at Palmer Cemetery located at E. Lamar St., Palmer, Texas on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 2 pm.
