Carol Kay Dixon, 84, passed away in Ennis, Texas on Sunday, February 8, 2026.

Carol was born in Dallas, Texas on November 25, 1941 to Talmadge and Jennie Belle (Reed) Houston. She grew up in Seagoville and graduated from Seagoville High School. On January 27, 1961 she married Donnie Dixon and they made their home in Seagoville, Crandall, Ferris, and then settled in Bristol. She worked for Dr. Farley in Garland, South Central Bank in Hutchins, Home Heath Industry, and Retired from Davis Insurance in Palmer. She was a member of the Bristol Church of Christ. She enjoyed her family, her grand children and her great-grandchildren more than anything.

She is survived by one brother Lance Houston and wife Sheryl; one sister Maureen Tomlinson; one son Donnie Glen Dixon Jr. and wife Donna. Three grandsons: Dustin Dixon and wife Brooke; Drake Dixon; Denton Dixon and wife Maegan. Great Grandchildren Hannah and fiancé Ben Brown, Emma, Blayne, Lola, Adelyn, Emersyn, and Donnie Ray.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donnie Dixon Sr., four brothers, and three sisters.

Visitation will be on Sunday, February 15, 2026 from 2:00-3:00 at the Bristol Church of Christ, 99 Church Circle, Ennis (Bristol), Texas and Celebration of Life to begin at 3:00.
