Carolyn Greene, 72, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 in Mesquite, Texas.

Carolyn was born in Ennis, Texas on April 8, 1948 to Leon and Mary Sue (Chandler) Zaidle.  She graduated from High School in Dallas, Texas.  In 1974 she married James Greene and they made their home in Payne Springs, Texas.

Carolyn was a multi talented person that worked for several different careers including Insurance, A.T.T. Security, she was a runway model and a professional Singer known as Zuma.  She was a member of the Swaggert Church, Republican Party, NRA and enjoyed poetry.

Carolyn is survived by her sons: Raymond C. Butter, Jr. and James T. Greene; two grandsons; James and Drake; a great-grandchild; a brother, Danny Zaidle; a sister, Murvie McGuire and a host of extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother, Doug Zaidle.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Pastor Ron Thomas officiating from Rogers Baptist Church of Garland.  Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
