Carolyn Gail Lewis died unexpectedly at her home in Ennis, TX. on January 13, 2021. She was born in Elkhart, Indiana on October 6, 1949 to the late James and Beverly Dunnuck.

She worked as an LVN and Nanny. She loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed music, cooking, photography, and talking endlessly to her loved ones. Carol never knew a stranger. Her selfless love will remain with those she was the closest to, and she will be most remembered for her true concern for others.

She is survived by her husband, Howard "David" Lewis; daughter Kimberly Chapman of Dawson, TX., son Mark and Joslyn Eaton of Telico, TX.; son Brian and Jennifer Eaton of Garret, TX.; nine grandchildren; Chaz, Zachary, Trevor, Chapman, McKenzie Massey, Ivy Wilson, Tista Eaton, Iliana Eaton and Ceth Eaton and five great grandchildren. Sisters JoDee and Matt Moseng of Elkhart, IN.; Camy and Steve Mullet of Elkhart, IN.; brother James Dunnuck of Elkhart, IN; mother-in-law, Wanda Lewis, brother-in-law, sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Keever Chapel in Ennis.  Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the Keever Chapel in Ennis.

Honorary Pallbearers: Mark Eaton, Brian Eaton, Zachary Chapman, Chaz Chapman, Eric Wilson and James Massey.
