Carolyn Anne Pierce, 83, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020 in Ennis, Texas.

Carolyn was born in Lufkin, Texas on September 21, 1937 to Carl and Ruth (Gilliland) Williams.  Carolyn grew up in Lufkin and graduated from Lufkin High School in 1955.  Carolyn went on to Nursing Training for two years.  On June 14, 1958 Carolyn married Bobby J. Pierce and they made their home in Harlingen until she moved to Ennis in 2020.

Carolyn worked at Treasure Hills Elementary for seventeen years as an office assistant and as a Doctor's office assistant.  Carolyn was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Harlingen, Texas.  She enjoyed reading and word games.  Carolyn was a loving mother and grandmother that loved spending time with each of them.

Carolyn is survived by sons: Jeffrey Pierce and Brian Pierce and his wife, Julie; grandchildren: Austin, Alexander and Avery; sister, Kathy Gilbert and a host of extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bobby Pierce on October 22, 2013, twin daughters in 1962, one brother and two sisters.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 9 a.m. in the St. Joseph Cemetery of Ennis under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
