Charlie Ray Myers, 72, passed away in Ennis, Texas, on Monday, September 18, 2023.

Charlie was born in Bardwell, Texas, on December 20, 1950, to M.T. and Betty Joe (Calhoun) Myers. Charlie grew up in Bardwell and Ennis and graduated from Carver-Ennis High School in 1969.

Charlie worked for Coleman Tire Company and Supreme Tire Company for many years. Charlie was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Ennis. Charlie enjoyed spending time with family, dancing and singing.

Charlie is survived by a daughter, Nicole Watts; three grandchildren; brothers: M.T. Myers, Tommie Lee Calhoun, and Douglas Calhoun; sisters: Clairene Calhoun and Hattie Mae Jones; one uncle, Willie Ray Calhoun along with a host of extended family and friends.

Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and four sisters.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023, from noon until 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023, at 2 p.m. in the Ennis Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
