It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Christopher Alexander Henry, 54, of Ennis, Texas, on Thursday, February 13, 2025.

Chris was born on January 10, 1971 in Ennis, Texas to Richard Alex Henry and Theresa Elizabeth (Morris) Henry. After graduating from Red Mesa High School in Arizona, Chris moved back to Ennis. He loved to spend time outdoors on his grandparent's farm hunting & fishing and watching/collecting movies. After working locally for over 25 years, mainly at ELK/GAF, he resigned to help in the care of his mother, as was his nature. In recent years, he enjoyed spending time with friends & family and pursuing his hobbies.

Preceding Chris in death is his mother, Theresa Henry and his grandparents, Billy Joe Morris Sr and Jeaneta Elizabeth Morris.

Chris is survived by his father, Richard A. Henry; Aunt Patricia Langer and husband Eddie and their children, Brent (Michelle) Bratcher and their children Andrew, Nathan and Izzy; Jessica (Curtis) Sturgeon and their children Hunter and Hartley; Uncle Billy Joe Morris Jr. and wife Tammy and their children,Terry Dowd and Tina (Dowd) Torrez and her children Anthony and Andrew (Kelly) Torrez and their children.
Chris will be remembered for all the kindness he shared with others.

In lieu of flowers, Chris wanted donations to be sent to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital .

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis, Texas.
