Edwin "Ed" Adair of Palmer, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025, in Midlothian, Texas, at the age of 67. Ed was Born on January 28, 1958, in Palmer Texas, on the Hart Farm. Ed lived a life marked by kindness, dedication, and quiet strength.

He was a cherished member of the Palmer community, known for his warm smile and generous spirit. Ed touched the lives of many through his unwavering support of family and friends, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Ed was a dedicated truck driver for FedEx Freight for more than 20 years, exemplifying hard work and commitment in his career.

Ed is survived by his son Stephen Wells and wife Jennifer of Midlothian, Texas, daughter Christina Cleveland of Joaquin, Texas, grandson Conner Wells, granddaughters Valerie Baker and Kyndal Cleveland and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who will carry his memory forward with love and gratitude. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those he held dear.

He is preceded in death by his wife Susan Adair, mother Julia May and father Ebb Thomas Adair, brothers Wayne and Jimmy Adair, and sisters Geneva Jennings, Joyce Price, Myrna Adair, and nephews Byron Price, Paul Adair, Daryl and Don Jennings.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Palmer, Texas.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the J. E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Palmer, Texas with Rev. James Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Palmer Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
