Clauda June Parrott was born on August 26, 1933, in Mineral Wells, Texas, to Claude and Hattie Lee McCleskey. She was called to her heavenly home on August 13, 2020, just two weeks shy of her 87th birthday. She spent her childhood in the Mineral Wells area where she was saved and baptized, but lived most of her adult life in the Houston area where she raised her daughters. In her final years she lived with family in Navarro Mills, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Hennone Carroll Parrott, parents Claude and Hattie Lee McCleskey, and her brother Jerry McCleskey.

June is survived by her daughters; Seria (Dan) Dassing of Big Sandy, Barbara (Jack) Lewis of Navarro Mills, and Angela (Vern) Riel of Spring. Her daughters gave her seven grandchildren; Jason and Stacy; Salina, Joe Bob, and Wendy; and Branden and Courtney. These grandchildren blessed her with 10 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

In 1977, June married Carroll, and celebrated 36 years with him. Carroll also had daughters, for whom June happily welcomed into her family and loved them as her own; Miriam (Dean) Brabham of Cypress, Carroll Jean Roesler (deceased) and Mary Ann (David) Hayes of Allen, Tx. These daughters gave her six grandchildren, Daren, Brian, Menyon,Vanessa, Michelle, and Matthew, who blessed her with 17 great grandchildren.

Yes, you read it right! All daughters, with a total of 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

June was also survived by two very special people, Curtis and Linda Clack,who were her family by heart. They were there for her, took special care of her, and made her part of their family.

June had a long and full life! She loved spending time with her family, and enjoyed camping and going to the beach. She was also known to play a game of Joker or two, or four, whatever it took for her to claim at least one win. She also relished a lively game of Forty-Two, and took pleasure in reading and working puzzles. Most of all, June was a very dedicated Christian, and she loved her church families from Tomball/Spring and Blooming Grove very much.

Her favorite bible verse was Psalms 100: Make a joyful noise until the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into the gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful until him and bless his name.

For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

A Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church of Blooming Grove, Texas, on August 22, 2020, at 2:00pm, with Grady Cashions officiating. Masks and social distancing will be required.

The family request if you choose to send flowers contact Cason Florist or Blossoms Flowers of Corsicana they will hold the flowers for the family to pick up for the service.

A Graveside Service will be held at Brookside cemetery in Houston, with Curtis Clack officiating. Specifics of this service will be announced at a later date.
