In Loving Memory of Codey Allen Rachal

Codey Allen Rachal, 39, of Ennis, Texas, passed away on October 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family and friends.

Born in Baytown, Texas, to Dawn and Tommy Rachal, Codey lived a life centered on faith, family, friendship, and hard work. He graduated from Channelview High School and dedicated nearly ten years of his career to working as a crane operator, earning the respect of those around him through his unwavering work ethic, dependability, and determination.

While Codey took great pride in his work, his greatest accomplishment was the life he built with the people he loved. He was a devoted husband to his wife of five years, Cathryn Rachal, and a loving father to his daughter, Haylee Rachal. Nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with his family, watching Haylee participate in her extracurricular activities, and creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Codey never met a stranger. His warm smile could light up any room, and his infectious laughter had a way of bringing people together. He was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need without expecting anything in return. His generous heart, humorous personality, and unwavering loyalty made a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

An avid car enthusiast, Codey loved attending car shows and spending time in the garage working as a mechanic on various projects. Whether he was rebuilding something with his hands, spending time with family and friends, or sharing stories and laughter, he approached life with passion and enthusiasm. In recent years, he found comfort and strength through his growing relationship with God, a faith that became an important part of his journey.

Codey is survived by his beloved wife, Cathryn Rachal; his cherished daughter, Haylee Rachal; his mother, Dawn Rachal; his father, Tommy Rachal; and his sister, Ashley French. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Rachal, whom he carried in his heart throughout his life.

Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we are grateful beyond words for every moment we shared with him. His kindness, laughter, strength, and love will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched. The memories he created with his family and friends will remain treasured forever.

A Celebration of Life honoring Codey will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sokol Hall in Ennis, Texas. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, celebrate his life, and remember the remarkable man who meant so much to so many.

Though he may no longer walk beside us, his love remains in our hearts, his laughter echoes in our memories, and his legacy lives on in the family and friends who were blessed to know him. He will be deeply missed and forever loved. ❤️
