Cody Allen Jones, aged 37, passed away on October 28, 2024, in Arlington, TX. Born on February 13, 1987, Dallas, TX Cody had a vibrant and impactful life marked by his straightforward, loving, and loyal nature.

Cody grew up actively participating in soccer, football, and baseball, reflecting his lifelong passion for sports. He graduated from Ennis High School in 2005 and furthered his education at Stephen F. Austin State University (SFA), where he continued to embody the spirit of perseverance and community.

Professionally, Cody dedicated over 15 years to Elliott Electric, where he excelled in both outside and inside sales roles. His commitment and expertise in his field were evident to colleagues and clients alike.

Beyond his professional life, Cody was deeply rooted in personal traditions and hobbies. He cherished the family tradition of showing cattle in FFA, a testament to his love for agricultural heritage. Cody also found joy in Watching movies, various sports, and playing golf with family and friends. His simple pleasures included playing video games, especially with his nephew, Beau, which showcased his playful and familial side.

Cody was a beloved son, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his mother, DeAnn Jones-Blakely; stepfather, Tim Blakely; brother, Joshua Jones; half sister, Paige Jones; sister-in-law, Madison Jones; Beau Jones nephew, Emersyn Jones niece and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. He is preceded in death by his father, David Allen Jones.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in memory of Cody to the Epilepsy Research Center, Epilepsy Foundation of America reflecting his family commitment to advancing research and understanding of epilepsy. The Epilepsy Foundation is an unwavering ally for individuals and families impacted by epilepsy and seizures.
