Cynthia Jo Moore was born September 28, 1945, in Ennis, Ellis County, Texas to John Paul and Mary Pauline Colvin. She went to meet the Lord on March 11, 2023.

Jo married Danny Michael Moore on January 1, 1991, in Alvarado, Texas. They were married 33 years and enjoyed antiquing, gardening, and spending time with friends and family.

Jo was a loving mother and grandmother. She worked at Continental Insurance Company in Dallas, Texas, which she considered to be some of her fondest memories.

Jo was preceded in death by her parents John Paul Colvin and Mary Pauline Colvin; brothers Johnnie Lee Colvin and Jeffrey Glenn Colvin; and sisters Beverley Ann Colvin Tipton and Susan Ophilis Colvin Emerson.

She is survived by her husband Danny Michael Moore of Malakoff, Texas; sister Betty Colvin Williamson of Ennis, Texas, and brother Jim Colvin and wife Jean of El Dorado, Arkansas; sons Larry Osteen and his wife Jan of Malakoff, Texas, and Derik Moore and wife Karla of Grandview, Texas; grandchildren Johnann Arnold and husband Josh of Malakoff, Texas; Kennedy Moore and Alexa Moore both of Grandview, Texas; and 5 great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Barnes, Brentlee Arnold, Rustin Arnold, Hadley Arnold, and Wyatt Arnold.

Visitation will be Friday, March 17, 2023 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the J. E. Keever Mortuary in Ennis, Texas.

Funeral service will be Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 2 p.m. in the J. E. Keever Mortuary Chapel in Ennis. Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J. E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
