The family of Darryl Lee McGee Sr. of Bristol, Texas is saddened to announce his  passing on September 24, 2021 at the age of 74.

Darryl loved living with his wife Marion and their three dogs on their acreage south of Dallas. He enjoyed his retirement taking care of his land, his animals, and spending time outdoors.

He  was born on July 16, 1947 in Dallas, Texas to Gladys Flossie French and John McGee.  He attended Bryan Adams High School then graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor's degree in business and also served in the Air Force.  He worked for Peat Marwick/KPMG and Metavante as a financial institution consultant.

He is survived by his wife Marion McGee, his son Darryl McGee Jr. (Chip) and wife Kris, granddaughter Haley McGee, brother Kelly French and wife Allison, and brother John McGee (Mickey).   He is preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Wilbur French, and sister Karen French.

The family will be celebrating his life at a private memorial service.
