David Michael Frisby, surrounded by his family, went to his eternal home on Sunday, April 18, 2021 after a fierce battle with Covid-19.

David was born on April 12, 1952 to Samuel Jesse Frisby and Easter Lilly Cremeen in El Dorado, Arkansas.  David was raised in Urbana, Arkansas as a young child, later he moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas and lived with his older sister, Jesse Mae Dwyer, and her five children, Susie, Dennis, David, Jenni, and Andy.  He was like a big brother to them.  After graduating high school, David went on to study nursing at Henderson State University.  Post graduating, David moved to Dallas, Texas where he joined Baylor Hospital and had a fulfilling 37-year career.  In 2002, David met the love of his life, Nancy.  They were married the following year on July 18, 2003.  In 2008, they became guardians of their two granddaughters, Mya and Destiny.  Together they enjoyed each other, and shared many happy times as a family.

David retired on December 19, 2018 and had two lovely years of retirement.  Although he accepted a part time position with Home Town Drug, owned by Diana Coile and William Dlabaj to fulfill his need to stay active.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Easter Lilly; brothers, George, Sammy, and Billy (infant); sisters, Maggie Lou, Patsy, Jessie Mae, and Jenny (infant).

David is survived by his wife Nancy; daughters, Rachel, Cassandra and husband, Justin and Meagan; grandchildren, Steve, Andrew, Cameron, Anthony, Mya, Destiny, Sienna and Carleigh; brother, Tommy and wife Sue of Fort Smith, Arkansas; niece, Tammy Morrow; nephews, Jeffrey and Douglas Frisby.  David was survived by many other special family and friends.

David's services will be Saturday, May 1, 2021 at J.E. Keever Mortuary at 408 N Dallas Street, Ennis, Texas 75119. The visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00am followed by the memorial service at 10:00am.
