David Ray Glenn, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away on October 3, 2023 at his home in Ennis, Texas. David was born on October 28, 1959 in Dallas, TX and grew up in Oak Cliff, TX. He graduated from Adamson High School class of 1978 and later met Sharon Butler from rival, Sunset high school in Oak Cliff, TX. They dated and were eventually married on June 18, 1982. David and Sharon were married for 44 years and raised three children together; Amber, Steven, and Shannon Glenn. David was blessed with two granddaughters Nicole and Naomi whom will remember "Grandpa" fondly. He was preceded in death by his mother Julia A. Glenn and father Jerry W. Glenn. David is also survived by his loving brother Jerry Glenn, sister Sussie Champaign, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis,

A Celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel in Ennis. Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
