David Allen McFaul born on June 15, 1978, in Ennis, TX, to Robert Allen and Sandra Jean (Gray) McFaul, Jr. unexpectedly left this earthly world on Tuesday, April 29th, 2025, at age 46. He was the second eldest of three siblings and three stepsiblings.

Most of his life was spent as a carpenter and master woodworker. He loved working with his hands and was a highly skilled craftsman. He also had exceptional electrical skills and even knew a lot about plumbing. David loved doing home improvement projects and put his heart into all of his handiwork. His work will forever live on in many homes.

David was very humorous and charming. He always made friends everywhere he went. People were drawn to his charisma.

He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed spending free time at the lake, camping, fishing, and in his later years going to flea markets and traveling. He also loved collecting knives, playing pool, cards, dominoes and many other games with family and friends. He was a fun-loving, true kid at heart.

In March 2008 he welcomed his son and only child Caiden who he loved immensely. They shared a love for dogs adopting a Westie, Coozie, then rescuing a stray they found one 4th of July, Peaches. David later adopted his most recent Westie fur baby, BB. She was his little Boss Baby. They went everywhere together, swam at the lake, hunted rabbits and even made a trip to Pikes Peak, Colorado.

David is preceded in death by his father Robert Allen McFaul, Jr. and stepfather Clyde Mitchell Williams, Jr.

He is survived by partner and best friend Lindsey, son Caiden McFaul, godson Caleb Richardson, mother Sandra Williams, sisters: Jenny McFaul Raabe and husband Lee, Christi Brown, Taylor Griffin and husband Tyler; brothers: Shawn Williams and wife Jessica, C.J. Williams and wife Chandler, nieces: Reagan and Jillian, nephew: Jaxon, nephew/niece: Joel and Deliliah; as well as numerous other extended family members.

David is remembered with much love and is deeply missed by many who knew and cherished him.

A celebration of life will be held at Grapevine Lake on May 30, 2025.
