Delphie Slovacek, 94, passed away in Ennis, Texas on Sunday, September 6, 2020.

Delphie was born in Ennis, Texas on July 9, 1926 to John T. and Mary H. (Vrana) Mach.  She grew up in Ennis and attended Laneview School.  Delphie married Louis J. Slovacek on June 17, 1947 and they made their home in Ennis.

Delphie was a member of KJZT.

Delphie is survived by her son, Steven Slovacek, Sr.; daughter, Gladys Darnall; two grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2020 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.  Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 10 a.m. at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church with Father Agustin Fuertes as celebrant.  Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
