Dianne (Dee) Lane, 75, passed away in Ennis, Texas on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.

Dee was born in Dallas, Texas on December 4, 1947, to James Davis and Hulene (White) Cox.  She grew up in Dallas and graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1965.

Dee's career spanned multiple professions at KC Aviation, MannaRelief Ministries, and most recently at Tractor Supply.    In all these what she enjoyed most was the interactions with her customers and developing friendships.   She became very involved in animal rescue and assisted in countless animals saved, homed and rehabilitated.    When she wasn't working or rescuing animals you would find her most happy tending to the garden and spending time with her family.

Dee is survived by her daughters Rita Harrell-King and Elizabeth Stone; her sons-in-law Robbie King and Randy Winkles; her grandchildren Michael Case, Mallory Case and husband Clint Nelson, Bobby Gean Case, Trenton Harrell and Lucas Harrell; her great-grandchildren Layne Case, Wesley Case and Harlan Harrell; her sister Carolyn Chandler and a host of extended family and countless friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rev. Mark Richardson officiating.
