Dimple Pauline (Paula) Davis, 95, passed away at home on September 5, 2026. Paula was at peace and knew that she would soon be with her Lord and Savior and loved ones in Heaven.

She was born on September 30, 1930, in Wood County, Texas, to Fitchugh and Mary Cone. She spent her childhood in Scroggins, Texas. On November 17, 1950, Paula married Theo Davis and together they were blessed with 70 years of marriage. After marrying, they made their home in Ennis, Texas, for 49 years before moving to McKinney, Texas, to be near their family.

Paula is survived by her two sons, Les Davis and wife, Judy Davis and Ed Davis and wife, Cindy Davis. Grandsons: Chad Davis and wife, Erin Davis, Brad Davis and wife, Chelsea Davis, Garrett Davis and wife Erika Davis, Grant Davis, and Eric Davis. Granddaughter, Manda Maxwell preceded her in death February 26, 2017. Great grandchildren: Aiden Maxwell, Miley Maxwell, Rhett Davis, Rhodes Davis, Tripp Davis, Jack Davis and Juniper Davis. She is also survived by her siblings, Sueretta Todd and Chuck Cone.

Paula is preceded in death by her husband, Theo Davis, on February 10, 2023 and her siblings, Vanoy Lester and Glennis Cone. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis, Texas.

Private interment will be held in Myrtle Cemetery of Ennis, Texas under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
