Donald Gene Watts, 75, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023, in Ennis, Texas

Donald was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on October 25, 1947, to Woodrow and Genell (Tinsley) Watts. Donald grew up in Fort Worth and graduated from Paschal High School in 1966, he went on to the University of Texas Arlington to receive a degree in finance. On April 6, 1974 he married Patsy North and they made their home first in Austin and then to Ennis. Donald served his country proudly in the United States Army serving in Germany.

Donald had a long career in finance including with Ennis State Bank, Citizen National Bank, Texas State Bank Examiners, FDIC and owner of Laneview Financial. Donald enjoyed classic cars and travel.

Donald is survived by his loving wife of over forty-eight years, Patsy North Watts and a host of extended family and friends.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Betty.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
