Dwight James Lambert, 59, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 in Waxahachie, Texas.

Dwight was born September 5, 1963 in Waxahachie, Texas, the son of Ronald James Lambert and Dorothy Nell.  He attended school in Ferris, Texas.  He enjoyed music, being around water and spending time with family and friends and especially his girls. In his youth he played little league baseball and football for Ferris High School.  He obtained a water technician certification from Texas A & M in Corpus Christi and worked many years at Circle W RV Park in Rockport, Texas.  He later worked in the water departments for the City of Clifton, City of Crowley and Rockett Water Supply.

Dwight is survived by daughters: Jessica Marie Kent, Amber Nicole Lambert and Ashley Renee Senter; a special son and daughter; ten grandchildren; his mother, Dorothy "Mama Nell" McDonald and husband Gary; brothers:  Darrell Glen Lambert, Ronald Eugene Lambert and Russell Brent Wilkerson; sister:  Regina DeeAnn Jurica and husband Frank and 5 nieces and nephews; sons:  Andy Price and Richard Hooper;  several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, grandparents and Uncle Curtis Lambert.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Matt Walker officiating.
