Earl Edward Fisher, Jr., 85, passed away in Ennis, Texas on Thursday, July 8, 2021.

Earl was born in Dallas, Texas on September 22, 1935, to Earl E. Fisher, Sr. and Cecil (Sutton) Fisher.  Earl grew up in Dallas and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1954 he went on to attend Texas A&M University.  On August 30, 1957, he married the love of his life Sharon Jones, and they made their home in Mesquite, then Dallas before moving to Ennis in 1979.

Earl was in Metal Stud Manufacturing for over 30 years until his retirement in 2004.  He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Earl loved spending time with his family, camping, fishing, sailing and playing golf.

Earl is survived by his loving wife of almost sixty-four years, Sharon Fisher; daughter, Connie Poirier sons: Allen Fisher and wife, Vicki; Stuart Fisher and wife, Karan and Jeffrey Fisher and wife, Robin; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Marie Donaldson and a host of extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Betty Henson and Janet Melton.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at 10 a.m. in Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
