Earl Russell McCoy, 54, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020 in Mansfield, Texas.

Earl was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on March 31, 1966 to Richard and Teresa (Forest) McCoy.  He grew up in Ohio and attended school there.  On November 19, 1984 he married Beatrice Herrera and they made their home in Ennis.

Earl worked for twenty-seven years for Kuntzman Trucking.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, NASCAR and football.

Earl is survived by his wife of thirty-six years Beatrice McCoy; sons: Richard McCoy and wife, Shera and Nickolas McCoy and wife, Heather; daughters: Laura McCoy and Jessica Troy and husband, DeVontre; grandchildren: Richard, Landon, Addison, Isabella, Nethaniel, Elijah, Brooklyne, Mallory and Lexi; sister, Angela Neal and husband, James along with a host of extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ricky McCoy.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2020 from 3 p.m. until 5 in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 10 a.m. in the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church.  Pallbearers will be Jeremy McClintic, Casey McClintic, Richard McCoy II, Landon McCoy, Chris Raley, Brian Frye, Donny Goforth and Neal Byrd.  Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
