Earlene Boon, 77, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, in Waxahachie, Texas.

Earlene was born on June 27, 1944, in Waxahachie, Texas, to Earl and Laura Leona (Gauntt) Anderson. Earlene grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1962.  On March 27, 1965, she married the love of her life Alvis T. Boon.  Following their marriage, they moved to Irving and settled in Ennis in 1976.

Earlene worked in computer operator for over twenty years and for Ennis Paint for twenty years in accounting. Earlene was a member of the Ennis Rebecca Lodge and First United Methodist Church of Ennis.  Earlene loved her family, and they were the joy of her life. Earlene enjoyed social media especially Facebook. Earlene's favorite things to do were reading, looking through family photos and cooking.

Earlene leaves behind her loving family including her husband of over fifty-seven years, Alvis; son, Steve Boon and wife, Laura; three grandchildren: Sarah, Alex and Michael; brother, Allen Anderson along with a host of extended family and friends.

Earlene is preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Jimmy Anderson and Donald Anderson.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2022, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022, at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis, with Rev. Brian Shipman officiating. Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc. Pallbearers will be: Alex Boon, Michael Boon, Stan Tidwell, Jose Natero, Greg Anderson and John Earl Anderson. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Dr. John Boon, David Boon, Jim Krueger and Billy Keilers.
