Efrain was born on October 27, 1996, in Waxahachie, Texas.

At the age of seven, he was diagnosed with epilepsy and faced many challenges throughout his life. However, Efrain never allowed his condition to define him. In fact, most people would only know of his diagnosis if he chose to share it. He lived life with courage, determination, and a joyful spirit, focusing on the things he loved most.

Efrain was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness and generosity touched everyone he met. He had a remarkable ability to make others feel seen, heard, and valued. Serving others brought him great happiness, and he found fulfillment in offering support, encouragement, and love to those around him.

As a child, Efrain cherished the time spent with his sisters and cousins. With more than fifteen children gathered together, imaginations ran wild and memories were made that would last a lifetime. Whether playing kickball and dodgeball in Grandma's backyard, staging wrestling matches in the living room, or enjoying ice cream together outside, family gatherings were always filled with laughter and joy.

Of all the roles he held in life, being an uncle brought him the greatest pride and happiness. There was nothing he loved more than the nieces and nephews who adored him, looked up to him, and wanted to be just like him.

Efrain enjoyed spending time with his grandfather, Albert, sharing conversations and creating lasting memories. He loved cooking out with family and friends, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys each season while believing, year after year, that this would finally be their year. He also enjoyed listening to music and enthusiastically keeping up with the latest Jordan sneakers.

A dreamer with a heart full of ambition, Efrain was actively pursuing many goals and aspirations for his future. Although his journey ended far too soon, the impact he made through his love, compassion, humor, and unwavering spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Efrain's life stands as a testament to God's goodness and grace. He showed those around him that obstacles do not define who we are. Instead, he demonstrated the importance of facing life's challenges with faith, gratitude, and a smile, always giving praise to Our Heavenly Father.

Efrain is lovingly survived by his parents, Antonio Estrada and Karen Denise Sierra and her husband, Martin Sierra; his sisters, Marla, Daniela, and Briana; his brother-in-law, Detric; his cherished nieces and nephews, Khendel, Mason, Lucas, Asher, Lincoln, Laïa, and AJ, who brought him immeasurable joy; his grandparents, Albert and Jeri; his aunts, Stephanie and Cecilia; and numerous cousins whom he loved and considered siblings.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Blasita Salazar, Isaias and Guadalupe Estrada; his uncles, Michael Salazar, Javier Estrada and Ismael Estrada; and his beloved pit bull, Venus.

Though he is no longer with us in body, Efrain's love, laughter, and legacy will remain in our hearts forever.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis with Rosary at 7 p.m.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 10 a.m. in St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc. Pallbearers will be: Adam Reyes, Israel Abeja, Detric Slaughter, Jose Estrada, Ray Estrada, Carlos Ross, Christian McKnight and Oscar Salazar. Honorary Pallbearer: Corey Reyes.
