Eleanor "Ann" Threet died peacefully at the age of 82 in her home in Ennis, Texas on February 16th, 2022, at 7.19pm surrounded by her loving family.

Ann, as she was affectionally known, was reunited at Heaven's gate with her late parents John (Cotton) & Lucy Hickman, beloved Husband Caleb Henry Threet, son Caleb Jr., and brothers Joe & Gilbert Hickman. Ann is survived by her sons Scott and Ricky Threet, daughters in law Mindi and Michelle, grandkids Colby & wife Hannah and Kayla & fiancées James, sister-in-law Christine Hickman, and nephew and niece, John and Chantelle.

Ann was born at 12.37pm on November 2nd, 1939, to Cotton and Lucy in Corpus Christi, Texas. At an early age they moved to Groesbeck Texas where she was an avid softball player at the public school she attended. Ann then went on to attend Durham's Business College and upon graduating moved to the big city of Dallas where she worked in the office at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. In Mexia, Texas is where she met her late Husband Caleb and they later celebrated their wedding on Easter Sunday, March 29, 1959, at the First Baptist Church in Groesbeck.

In the following years, Caleb enlisted in the Military which moved them out to San Francisco, California. As time passed, Ann and Caleb couldn't shake their love for the great State of Texas, so they moved back to start building their family. This led to their greatest love: spending time with her grandchildren, Colby and Kayla. In turn she spent her life doting on her dogs over the years, Cleo, Brandy, Andy and Bitsy.

Ann was also a committed member of 48 years to the Women's Auxiliary of the American Legion, traveling the State for conventions. This is where she met her loving friend of 18 years, Roger Pecinovsky.

Ann lived her life to the fullest. Whether it be out on the dancefloor, on a boat fishing, having fun at the casino with her friends, using her green thumb to bloom her beautiful garden, or out riding her motorbikes into her late 70s - she was always having fun no matter what! This is how we will remember her. Ann will be solely missed by all.

Memorial Service will be Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 2 p.m. in the Keever Chapel in Ennis. Interment will be in Rice Cemetery under the direction of J. E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
