We are saddened to announce the passing of Ellen Earles, who passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 70.

Ellen was born in Ennis, Texas on October 29, 1952 to Walter and Audra Faye (Smelley) Earles. She was a proud graduate of Ennis High School class of 1971. She attended West Texas State University and graduated from the University of Texas Arlington with a degree in accounting. She worked as an accountant at several companies throughout Dallas and Ennis and was known for her strong work ethic.

Ellen was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ennis.

Ellen will be remembered by her family as a loved and cherished member of their lives. She was always there for her brother, Larry Earles and his wife, Jessie (Pekar) Earles, her nephews, Timothy and Jonathan Earles, and her cousin, David Smelley.

Visitation for Ellen will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 6pm to 8pm at the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 10am at the same location.
