Emily King passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026.

She was born on December 8, 1935, in Ennis, Texas. The daughter of Charles Bobal and Mary Hrbacek. She was raised in Ennis, Texas and attended Ennis High School. After school she married Marvin King.

Emily worked for Ben Franklins in Ennis and Ennis Business Forms before becoming a housewife and raising her two sons.

Survivors include Jeffery King; Curtis King and his wife, Lezlie. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Zachary, Lucas, and Connie and husband, Abel . Her legacy continues through her great-grandson, Rush Aguirre.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026, from noon until 1 p.m. at J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

Services will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026, 1 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. Private burial in Myrtle Cemetery.
