Our loving Mom, Nanny and Great Grandmother entered thru Heavens gate Monday August 18, 2025 at 2:54pm. She was born November 13, 1947. She leaves behind a lasting legacy and many beautiful memories.

She is survived by son Steve Brown of Alvarado, Tx, daughter Tammy Baker of Ennis, Tx, daughter Christi Snyder of Athens, Tx, daughter Amanda Brown of Ennis, Tx, grandchildren Lawrence Featherkile of Alvarado, Tx, Savannah McGlocklin of Coffee City, Tx, April Foust of Ennis, Tx, Mistie Grantham of Kaufman, Tx, Destinee Nix of Canton, Tx, Katie Huddleston of Athens, Tx, Ashley Mitchell of Ennis, Tx, JT Reed of Swink, Co, Delayna Shaw of Alma, Tx, Nathan Fortner of Royse City, Tx, Camryn Fortner of Canton, Tx and numerous great grandchildren as well as extended family Colton Flynt of Ennis,Tx, Lisa & Brandon Barnes of Heartland, Tx and Rock Gay of Dallas, Tx.

She is preceded in death by our dad Rufus Burneam Brown Jr, her mother Nellie Ruth Duke, siblings Billie Sue Duke, Nellie Pearl Moser, Johnny Duke, David Duke, granddaughter Mikayla Brown, great grandson Eugene Mitchell Shaw and best friends for over 40 plus years Lola and LeRoy Gay.
