Finis Jarrell Raymond, 88, passed away in Palmer, Texas on Saturday, January 15, 2022.

Jarrell was born March 11, 1933, to Jack and Roseta Roddy Raymond. He grew up in Maypearl and graduated from Maypearl High School. Jarrell served his country proudly in the United States Army where he became a Green Baret. He drove a truck for over thirty years. He was a member of the American Legion and the NRA. Jarrell was an animal lover.

Jarrell is survived by sons: Jarrell Wayne Raymond and John Mark Raymond; daughters: Rhonda Gail Alberto and Teresa Pierce; five grandchildren: five greatgrandchildren; a brother, Harvey Roberts; children: Jeannie Wafer, Susan Watkins, Chuck Hawkins, Brad Shugart, Timmy Vick, Jeff Vick and Chris Vick and a host of extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, JoAnn Raymond, sons: Michael Joel Raymond, Robert Leslie Raymond and James David Raymond.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Palmer.

A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at 2 p.m. at J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Palmer. Pallbearers will be Timmy Vick, Jerry Land, James Branson, David Land, Chuck Hawkins, Jeff Vick and Lloyd Higdon.  Interment will follow in the Palmer Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
