Frank Adair Hoffman passed away peacefully on September 6th with his family by his side.  He was born in Corsicana, Texas on November 17, 1947 to Ernest and Atha Hoffman.  Frank (Frankie) graduated from Ennis High School in 1966 where we played football for the Ennis Lions.

After high school, he attended Navarro College and Southwest Texas State University before graduating from the University of Texas at Austin in 1970 with a degree in Management and Finance.  He was always a big fan of the Lions and the Longhorns.

On June 21, 1969 he married his high school sweetheart Jane Grant and they made their home in Austin.  Later they moved to Houston where their first child Gregory Adair was born.  Four years later, their daughter Laura Jane was born.  For a short time they lived in Edmond, Oklahoma before returning to Ennis permanently, where their third child was born, Lacy Michelle.

Frank worked with several companies as a personnel director and training specialist in Houston, Oklahoma City, and Corsicana.  He also taught accounting at Navarro College, but Frank's passion was being an 'oil' man and running his own oil company.  He continued doing this until his death.

Frank, first of all, loved the Lord and was a member of the Brown Street Church of Christ in Waxahachie.  He also loved his family dearly, and his greatest pleasure was being with all of them whether it be birthdays, holidays, or just sharing a meal.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jane, son Greg (Winonah) of Cedar Park, daughters Laura Rypple (Artie) of Red Oak and Lacy Hobbs (Daniel) of Waxahachie.  He has five grandchildren who were the pride and joys of his life:  Fletcher Hoffman, Grant Hobbs, Vivian Rypple, Reagan Hobbs, and Claire Hoffman.

The family would especially like to thank all of the nurses and staff on the 6th floor at Baylor-Scott and White of Waxahachie and Bluebonnet Rehabilitation Center of Ennis for their love and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.

Pallbearers are Daniel Hobbs, Grant Hobbs, Fletcher Hoffman, David Keever, Artie Rypple, David Starr and Larry Strauss.

Honorary Pallbearers are Gary Curtis, Bob Stalcup, Tom Tolar and Lynn Webster.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

A Celebration of the Life of Frank Hoffman will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel with interment following in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J. E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
