Gary Guysinger passed away in Waxahachie, Texas on Wednesday, May 10,
2023.

Gary was born on June 21st 1940 in Decatur, Illinois to John and
Evelyn (Smith) Guysinger. He graduated from Stephen Decatur High School in
1958.  After graduation, Gary received training from General Motors and
began a career in sales. He married Judy Kerr in March of 2006, and they
made their home in Palmer, Texas for the next seventeen years. Extended
trips to the western region of the United States were among his favorite
travel experiences.  His love of handguns and military history,
especially Civil War history, had he and Judy traveling throughout the
South visiting various battlefields and museums. At home, the patio was
his favorite respite for watching birds and other natural beauty.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents John and Evelyn Guysinger.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy, his daughter Jackie Murray and
her husband, Joe and three grandchildren, Christina Mast, Michael
Harris, and Katie Glasgow.

A celebration of Gary's life will be held on Saturday, May 20th , 2023 at
2 p.m. at the J. E. Keever Chapel in Palmer, Texas.
