Gayla Chapman, 59, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020 in Ennis, Texas.

Gayla was born in Waxahachie, Texas on June 7, 1961 to Bobby and Mary (Isbell) Watson.  She grew up in Ennis and graduated from St. John High School in 1979.

Gayla worked for a total of twenty-five years for Dr. Roye, Leisure Lodge and Baylor Hospital.  Gayla was a member of Refiner's Fire Ministries International and the American Legion Auxiliary.  She enjoyed reading, watching TV and movies.

Gayla is survived by sons: J.T. Chapman and Daniel Garza; daughter, Desiree Garza; mother, Mary Watson; brothers: Jeff Watson and Willie Watson; sisters: DeAnna Tuley and DiAnna Hearron along with a host of extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father and partner Terry Rasco.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 3 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis.
