Georgia Ann Tyler, 50, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022, in Ennis, Texas.

Georgia was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on October 14, 1971, to Robert E. and Sandra (Collins) Pitt.  She grew up in Grand Rapids and graduated from East Kentwood High School in 1989.  On July 7, 1991, she married John Tyler and they made their home in Grand Rapids until moving to Ennis in 2007.

Georgia worked for Keystone for more than five years, then WalMart in Ennis for seven years as a department manager and then for HEB bakery.  Georgia loved to cook and spend time with her family.

Georgia is survived by her husband, John Tyler; sons: John R. Tyler, Zachary Tyler and Shawn Russell; daughter, Samantha Tyler; her mother, Sandra Pitt and a host of extended family and friends.

Georgia is preceded in death by her father and sister, Carol Pryslek.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 7 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.
